This is the personal portfolio of Thareen Jayadewa. It is built to collect as little as possible. This page explains, plainly, what is and isn't stored when you visit.

What this site stores in your browser

• Theme choice — whether you picked Blue or Mint, so the site remembers your preference next time.
• Cookie decision — whether you accepted or rejected analytics, so the banner doesn't ask you again.

These are small values kept in your own browser's local storage. They never leave your device, identify you, or get shared with anyone.

Analytics

Analytics only run if you explicitly opt in via the cookie banner. If you reject them (or ignore the banner), no analytics load at all. If enabled in the future, they would collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics — pages visited and rough visit counts — to help improve the site.

The contact form

The contact form opens your own email app with your message pre-filled. Nothing you type is stored by this website — the message goes directly from your email account to contact@thareen.design, and is used only to reply to you.

Third parties

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and two open-source libraries (Three.js and GSAP) load from the Cloudflare CDN. Your browser requests these files directly from those services, which means they see a standard web request (your IP address and browser details) as with any website resource. No advertising or tracking scripts are used.

Your choices

• Change or withdraw your cookie decision by clearing this site's data in your browser settings — the banner will ask again.
